The Launching Ceremony of DFID (Department for International Development)-ACWF Vocational Training for Girls and Capacity Building Partnership in Advocacy and Skills Training for Poor Adolescent Girls was held in China Women Activity Centre in Nov.6. The ceremony was presided by Mme. Zhao Shaohua, Member of the Secretariat of ACWF. Speakers at the ceremony include Mme. Gu Xiulian, Vice President and First Member of the Secretariat of ACWF, Mr. Wang Xinggen, Deputy Director of the International Department of MOFTEC and Mme. Catherine Elizabeth Nettleton, Political Counsellor of British Embassy. Nov. 6 -Nov.8, a training course was conducted for the project participants from three provinces. The project with a fund of around 305million RMB yuan will be implemented within three years.
