In memorial of the 30th anniversary of the normalization
of China-Japan diplomatic relations, the All-China
Women's Federation has successfully held grand
women's celebration named "Meeting at the
century-Sisters hand in hand in Beijing".
Over 460 Japanese women and 300 Chinese women
from all walks of life participated in the activity.
Opening ceremony at the China Women College in
the afternoon of Sept. 8. Both Chinese and Japanese
participants signed on the hundred-meter scroll
with "Safeguard world peace-friendship between
China and Japan lasts for all generations."
They also planted trees signifying friendship.

Sunao, former Minister of foreign affairs of Japan.
