At the invitation of the Association of Canadian Community Colleges, Shen Shuji, Vice-President, ACWF, and Member of the Secretariat of ACWF and her Chinese women's delegation paid a visit to Canada from June 8 to 14, 2002. The delegation visited CIDA, National Action Committee on the Status of Women, Ministry of Justice, Law School of Queens University, Human Rights Center of Ottawa University, National Association of Women and the Law and Legal Education and Action Fund. Delegates exchanged views with the Canadians on expanding project result, mainstreaming gender awareness in decision making, the status and role of NGOs in government decision making.
