Sept. 26, 2001, Feng Cui, Member of the Secretariat of All-China Women's Federation held discussions with Mme. Irmeli Torssonen, President of Soroptimist International (SI) and her delegation. Ms. Torssonen handed over the SI President Appeal for the year 2000 to ACWF. The fund will be used to help 300 drop-out girls from poor families in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in China to complete three years of secondary school education and receive practical skill training.
