Uder the invitation of All-China Women's Federation, a three-member Japanese delegation headed by Ms. Nishidate, famous playwright visited Beijing on September 24-28. Ms. Is the General Representative of "Japanese Culture Association" and " Japanese lullaby Association". In the past years, Ms. Nishidate devoted herself in the study of women and children with emphasis on domestic violence, and she is quite influencial in Japan.

　　During her visit in Beijing, Ms. Li Qiufang, Member of Secretariat of ACWF hosted a welcoming banquet for her delegation and exchanged views on common concerns. According to Ms. Nishidate, domestic violence began to get more and more attention by the Japanese society and from this October, "Law on the Elimination of Domestic Violence" was put into force.

　　This visit changed her views and prejudice about China. "Torn down the wall between the two sides" she said. She also expressed her will to publicize her visit to China by making speeches and articles after she went back to Japan.
