On June 3, 2001, the Arab Ambassadors' Spouses' Group in Beijing, accompanied by Mrs. Long Jiang Wen , deputy director general of the International Liaison Dept. and other staff of ACWF participated in a traditional Chinese wedding ceremony with great interest. The ceremony was directed by "purple house", a timed brand wedding company . Mrs. Ebtisam Almahmeed, wife of Bahrain Ambassador in China and chairperson of the group made an ardent speech and gave the bride He Miao and bridegroom WuJunping a set of Arabic wedding garments as the gifts on behalf of the group. As she said, the group, for so many years, has been longing for having an opportunity to attend a traditional Chinese wedding ceremony in order to know traditional Chinese culture.
