Officials from Development and Cooperation Division of Australian Embassy came to ACWF on May 24th to discuss the Australia-China Human Rights Technical Cooperation next year. The two parties preliminarily agreed to initiate an Anti-Trafficking demonstration project in Sichuan and Guizhou Province with an emphasis on prevention-oriented publicity, training and settlement of the rescued women. They also agreed to start an Anti-Domestic Violence Project in combination with the publicity of the newly revised Marriage and Family Law in Qinghai. ACWF will submit a project proposal in near future and meet with the Program Planning Mission of AusAID on June 12th.
