Upon the invitation of All-China Women's Federation, a three people delegation of New Japan Women's Association headed by Mme. Takahashi Kazue, Secretary General of NJWA, visited Beijing and Shanghai in February 20-24.

　　During their stay in Beijing, they paid a courtesy visit to Mme. Feng Cui, member of Secretariat of ACWF. They were also welcomed by Mrs. Zou Xiaoqiao, deputy director of International Liaison Department and discussed in depth the latest political and economic situation in the two countries and achievements and challenges met by the two organizations. They also reached agreement on strengthening cooperation to improve women's status and safeguard peace in Asia and the world at large.

　　When in Shanghai, the delegation visited the Shanghai Women's Federation, private enterprises where workers were mostly women and experienced Shanghai in 1940s in Duolun Culture Street.

　　The delegation was deeply impressed by the great changes taken place in China and enthusiasms and confidence of Chinese people in such short time. They expressed their good wishes to China that absorb the lessons learnt of developed countries and achieve more in every field of the society.
