Present position:   Home >> Women's Organizations and Institutions Responsible for Women's Issues in China >> Text Legislative Body make examinations on the status of the implementation of the laws on women, children and juveniles; to check on the records of the local statutes of women, children and juveniles; and to deal with the letters from the masses about women, children and juveniles.         The people's congresses, at various levels in provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, have corresponding institutions for guaranteeing the rights and interests of women and children.
