The Network has conducted workshops, planned important coverage
and reports, written articles and run courses of social gender
training for media staff. It supervises and tackles coverage
that displays derogative images of women, denies women's independent
personality and bolsters stereotypes relating to women.

The
Office of Workers, Youth and Women, Committee on Internal
and Judicial Affairs of the National People's Congress is
an important part of the Committee on Internal and Judicial
Affairs of the NPC. In daily work, it is responsible for contacting
government departments and NGOs concerned with the issues
of guaranteeing women and children's rights and interests.
Its main responsibilities are: to carry out research and draft
in terms of legislation on women, children and juveniles and
to prepare for legal cases; to undertake the drafting of opinion
documents discussed by the presidium of the NPC; to examine
